So, let me get this straight. Those of us who bought the app before have to pay for themes and others now get the app for free? Weak. Update: wow, so charitable. Free orange theme? You must have gotten some bad feedback. Its not a very good calculator app to begin with, so time for a delete. Sumhold is way better. iPhone - this app = much better

Ive been searching for a calculator for two days, and getting more frustrated when getting so close to what I needed and having each one fall short. Im embarrassed to say that I had previously downloaded thia app and didnt give it a second thought because I couldnt get past the color and didnt want to pay. Out of desperation, a took a second look, and when I saw the history view options (it is nearly impossible to find a calc app that will show a full history beyond just a few calculations), I purchased the app without hesitation. Now, Im very grateful for this brilliant design, and I get to use a beautiful slate UI thats better looking and more clear than anything else Ive tried. Thank you, developers, for creating this app.

This is simply the best calculator Ive ever downloaded. Simple yet elegant and smart. Love it.

Turns out IOS 8 is pretty but not practical--especially for the over-40 eyesight. You young designers will get there and then you will want solid background colors, bold letters and numerals, and big buttons. Now, for $1.99 I would expect to have at least these options. This is not an outrageous request, since you already have such a design. It used to be standard.

On a basic level, the marginal benefit of this calculator over the standard Apple calculator is more than $0. So you can’t complain on the price. Don’t need to buy new colors if you don’t want to. Issue 1: When you open the app, it keeps your last set of calculations up and running. So if you are starting a new calculation, the first step you have to do is clear the line. An extra step. Annoying. I can see how that would be nice if you wanted to continue your operation, but that’s hardly ever the case for me, and I found my self getting frustrated by this action based on my use. To make it worse, the last operation remains when I force close the program (swiping the app up after double-clicking the home button). That’s really annoying. Every calculator I’ve used has reset to 0 when turning it on. Yes, I can adapt, but I don’t use it that much for me to really think about it. Beyond that, the true genius of design is build something that “just works." (Note: there is a history page, so you could swipe over, select the last transaction, and keep going if you needed. They just assume (wrongly for me) that I want to continue more often than not.) So 3.5 stars for the annoyance factor. Still, I used it more often than not because of the operational features. Until… Issue 2: I got curious why it wants access to cellular data. I shut off access as part of a larger privacy cleansing, and now when I open the app, I get an annoying pop-up that says “Cellular Data i Turned Off for “Numerical” / You can turn on cellular data for this app in Settings.” What? Why. On. Earth. Does my calculator need cellular access? Why does it pester me about it? It seems to work just fine with it off. Well, except for that annoying pop-up which has me a) very curious as to what’s going on behind the scenes and b) deleting the app from my phone.

Make the numbers more responsive because it keeps my speed down!!!!

It would be better with the addition of calculating time, like if you turned it sideways similar to the iOS calculator but allowing for a time button and also a "convert to numbers" button as well

Perfect. Simple as that. I mean, it has everything I need for my work and presents it all stylishly.

This app is great. Love that if you forget to type the first parentheses but then remember and type the second one it automatically adds the first. These small things make it a breeze to use. I happily paid the price to change the default color however.

There is a noticeable delay between pressing buttons and getting a response, on iPhone 5. It looks good, but performance is the primary purpose for a calculator.

Minimalism!

This is one of my favorite calculator apps and the color is very pretty. I use this app when my teacher tells us we can use calculators, unless the equation requires Pi. Then I have to go onto the standard calculator app just to use Pi. I know I could just put 3.1415926, but it would make life easier if you put the button. But even if you dont put Pi in, this app is still really good!

Darned near perfect on both iPhone and iPad. Bravo.

Im a bookkeeper and I use this app continuously. Its just absolutely great I love it on my iPad and my iPhone its priceless. Theres nothing that I would change about it. Ive tossed all other calculators to the side.

Beautiful minimalist design, smart brackets and result history. But... very few calculation features. Needs the "turn sideways for more operations" feature included in the basic iOS calculator. This one is way prettier, and will do great for figuring out sales at the mall, but doesnt have the chops for more serious math.

I feel lost when I do not have access to this calculator. ie when I am on my Macbook and my iphone or ipad is not nearby. The history view and detail of the figures you have input are amazing. The only calculator I would ever kiss and hug
